SQUATCH LIBRE

A little transparency.

How site analytics work

We count page views, partner, community, and TikTok link clicks, and successful calculator uses to understand which resources help our community. We also record a broad device category and a traffic-source label when available.

An anonymous random identifier is stored in your browser’s session storage to estimate visitors. A browser-exclusion preference can be saved in local storage and a cookie to stop owner or test activity from being counted. We do not use visitor-tracking cookies, save your IP address in our analytics records, or collect calculator inputs or results. Full referrer URLs and tracking query strings are not stored in analytics. Only the site owner can view the dashboard.

Analytics respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Those preferences stop this analytics script from sending activity. Our hosting and partner services may maintain their own operational records and privacy policies.

Email signup

If you opt in, we store your name, email address, signup date, and consent record privately for Squatch Libre updates about the community, resources, and partner offers. The site owner can export that list to an email service. New website signups are separate from existing Linktree contacts. You can remove your signup using the email-preferences link shown after signing up; future emails must also include an unsubscribe option. To prevent signup spam, we use a honeypot and a daily hashed network identifier for request limits. Raw IP addresses are not stored in signup records.

Affiliate links

If you follow a partner link, that partner may use its own tracking to attribute purchases. I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Purchases are handled on the partner’s website.
